New buildings in London
Posted on May 29th, 2008 | by Ben |My buddy, the Frenchman Tom, sent me this wonderful link to all the new buildings which are starting to spring up round London. I must say the nearest one to me and the most complete of all, the Broadgate Tower is one of my least favorite. It really doesn’t look particularly interesting. I was hoping for a new dramatic building but I’m not sure it adds much to London’s sky line. The Shard of Glass and the Jumeirah Tower look like they will be pretty unique and I look forward to them climbing towards the sky soon.
You can now also do a virtual flyby using Google Earth, although I think the artist renderings in the link above is best for appreciating what they will look like in context.
